Archiving and Folder Syncing
When you are using Nimbus AutoMate software to sync both up and down, it means that the system keeps both locations with same data (Nimbus and your local folder store).
When you archive a client folder, Nimbus removes the folder from the Client / Documents menu, and places the data into the Archive area. At the same time, the folder is removed from your local folder store due to the folder sync process.
When files and folders are archived, the system retains the folder path in the archive area. You can then filter the grid to show the files which belong to a particular client based on the folder path. If you choose to restore the folder from archive to current, the system will move the files from the archive menu back to the current menu. When the folder sync picks up these newly restored files, the sub-folder will then be recreated on your local folder store via the Nimbus AutoMate folder sync process.
