Using Edge to install AutoMate
If you are using the current version of MS Edge to install AutoMate, you will need to perform the following prior to the installation:
Download the plug in for ClickOnce from the Apps store
Change the default of “disabled” to “enabled” for this plug in
To do this perform the following:
Load Edge
In the URL type
edge://flags
and click the Enter keyThen in the Search Bar, type ClickOnce
The options for the ClickOnce Plug In will display
Change the setting from Default to Enabled and then click to Restart the browser
Note - on Windows 11 - use Edge and not Chrome
