Un-archiving an XPM Client

Un-archiving an XPM Client

From time to time a "lost" client will return to the Business.  When this occurs, the client will be un-archived in XPM.  This article discussed how to match together documents which were previously archived.

Instructions

  1. Check in Nimbus to see if the Client entity folder is showing as an "Orphaned" client folder.  This is done via the Documents menu, and the Green business folders.  If the Client Code/Client Name shown on this folder is the same as the Client Code/Client Name in XPM that you will restore from Archive, the green "Orphaned" client folder will auto-match back with the Client once it has been restored from Archive.
  2. Un-archive the Client entity in XPM
  3. Perform a Manual Client sync in Nimbus
  4. This process will return the Client to Nimbus and will display the entity on the Client grid, together with any related Contacts.
    1. If the folder was displayed as an "Orphaned" client folder (refer step 1), the documents will have been auto-matched with the Client Entity.
    2. If the folder was not displayed as an "Orphaned" client folder, you will need to restore the documents from Archive (only relevant for CDM customers)
