Synchronising Client Custom Field data from Xero
The synchronisation from Xero into Nimbus pulls through both Client and Contact information. It is possible to include Client Custom Field information in the synchronisation process also.
This means that any update to the Client Custom Field data in Xero, will automatically synchronise to the Nimbus Client Custom Field information.
Instructions
From your Nimbus account:
login to Nimbus and select Templates
select Client Templates
click the Custom Fields icon on the toolbar
using an empty field, enter the name of the Field exactly as it has been setup in your Xero database
select the type of field e.g.: Fixed List, Data List, Checkbox etc
set the flag to Integrate
click the Update button to save your changes
The system will then display an Advice:
This means that the data won’t be synchronised until a Full Client Sync is performed. This is a once off process to setup the Nimbus Database. Once this is complete, any changes to Client Custom fields in Xero will automatically be synchronised into your Nimbus account.
Now that you have this data in Nimbus, it is possible to use this to filter your Client Grid.
