SSO Login displays black Document List Pane
This issue presents itself when the staff member attempts to login to Nimbus using their SSO login. This may be either Xero SSO, or Practice Protect SSO.
The user will enter their Nimbus URL, and then click the SSO login button.
The system will then display the Document List pane as black as detailed below:
How to Resolve the issue:
The Add-Ins now include (from v2.20.9.21 onwards) a working version of Google Chrome which is needed for the any SSO login.
Something on the workstation is preventing the inbuilt Google Chrome from loading; possibly anti virus software?
The technical detail:
When the user clicks the SSO button to login to their Nimbus Add-in, the Add-in then calls files from the following locations;
C:\Program Files (x86)\Nimbus.ExcelAddIn\EO.Base.dll; EO.WebBroser.dll; EO.WebEngine.dll
C:\Program Files (x86)\Nimbus.WordAddIn\EO.Base.dll; EO.WebBroser.dll; EO.WebEngine.dll
C:\Program Files (x86)\Nimbus.OutlookAddIn\EO.Base.dll; EO.WebBroser.dll; EO.WebEngine.dll
C:\Program Files (x86)\Nimbus.PowerPointAddIn\EO.Base.dll; EO.WebBroser.dll; EO.WebEngine.dll
If something stops these files from running, the system cannot load the working version of Google Chrome and then fails with a black screen.
