Nimbus provides an Add-In for the MS Outlook Calendar. If you do not wish to sync your Outlook Calendar to your Nimbus Appointments, you do not need to install this particular Add-In.

The Calendar Add-In will:

  • Sync appointments in Outlook with your Nimbus Appointments

  • Sync appointments in Nimbus with your Outlook Calendar

Syncing the Calendars:

There are two options to sync your Outlook Calendar to your Nimbus Appointments module. These are:

Manual Sync

 

If you wish to sync a calendar item immediately, click this option.

Auto Sync

 

Setting up the Auto Sync option means that your calendars will sync on the Start Up of Outlook. The default sync period is the current week. This may be changed if you create appointments in the future. The sync will occur when changes are made either to your Outlook Calendar, or your Nimbus Appointments module.

If Auto Sync is NOT enabled, the icon will appear as follows. The difference is the icon in the middle of the swishes; not enabled this displays as a play symbol.
