Send and Save Email to Nimbus
With the Nimbus Outlook AddIn, you can compose an email to send to a Recipient, and also SAVE a copy of the sent email to Nimbus. To do this, perform the following:
From the Home menu on the Outlook Ribbon bar, select New Email. The new Email dialog will display.
Compose the email as you normally would, and select the Send and Save CDM button
The Save As to CDM dialog will display to the right of the message:
If the To: email address is related to a Contact that is setup in your Nimbus account, the system will match the Client Entities that the email address is related to, and will provide a list of Clients to choose from. This will determine where the copy of the email will be saved in Nimbus.
Complete the profiling of the email and click the Save button when complete.
It is also possible to attach a document from your Nimbus document store, to an email being sent from Outlook. To do this, from within the email you are composing, select CDM, Document List, locate the file(s) you wish to attach and click the links. These files will then be attached to the outgoing email from Outlook.
Remember that these files are being sent via Outlook and are therefore NOT secured nor encrypted as they are if the email is sent via Nimbus.
