MS Office 365

Nimbus provides your staff with the option of using Microsoft Office 365 online editors or the native Nimbus online editors.

The Office 365 editors are available to be used in Nimbus to edit Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents.

For a Nimbus account to utilise the Office 365 editors, an admin user must enable the feature. This will enable the feature for all employees of the account. Once the account has been enabled, each individual employee can disable the Office 365 editors for their own login if they choose.

Nimbus employees who wish to utilise the Office 365 editors must be logged into their Office 365 account.

If the document to be edited is an old MS Office format, prior to opening in the Office 365 editor, a new version of the document will automatically be saved and upgraded to the new format. If you don’t want this to happen, disable the Office 365 editors prior to editing the document.

All other file types will be edited using the native Nimbus online editor.
