Linking a video to an image in your Email

It is possible to link a video which is stored online (such as uTube, or even Vimeo) to an email template.  If you want to make the presentation more user friendly, you can even link the video URL to an image what has been uploaded to Nimbus.

Instructions

  1. Edit the email template.  This could be stationery, webform emails, or even system emails.
  2. You will need to attach the image to the email so that it displays in the body of the email. Upload your image (correctly sized prior to the upload)  to a green business folder such as resources / images.
  3. Then once it is visible in the email editor, click the Globe/Link icon  (in the middle of the toolbar).  The Change Link dialog will display.
  4. Enter your URL (pointing to the location of the video, e.g.: https://vimeo.com/12345678), and select to "Open in a new Window".
  5. Click the OK button to save your changes.
