Adding files to an Archived Client

Adding files to an Archived Client

When a Client leaves the business, and you cease providing a service to the Client, most businesses will Archive the Client and all of the documents belonging to the Client.

The question is then raised, what to do with documents that are provided to the business after the Client has been archived.

If the Client Folder remains as a Green Business Folder

If the client folder still remains as a green business folder, you will need to select Documents / Business folders / locate the folder (would be set as the client code) and then upload files to that folder. If you do not know what the client code is, you can search for a document you know would be in the folder and then back trace from there.

If the whole Client Folder was archived

If the whole folder has been moved to archive, you will need to locate a file from archive and restore that file from archive. This will recreate the folder as a green business folder. Then you'll be able to upload documents to that folder, and then archive the whole folder again.
