Setting up your Digital Signature (with your actual signature) using an iPhone whilst signing a document

Your Clients are able to setup their Digital Signature using their iPhone (or Android) if they wish to use their actual signature rather than using the script text signature option. They can do this the first time they need to sign a document.

Instructions

Ask your Client to perform the following:

  1. Login to their Client Portal using their iPhone

  2. From their In-Tray click to open a document which requires signature

  3. From the Options list in the top right hand corner, select Sign Document

  4. As the Client has not yet setup their digital signature, the Signature Wizard will commence. Agree to the Terms & Conditions and click the Continue button.

  5. Choose the Use uploaded image for their Signature option and click the Next button

  6. At this point, the system is asking for a copy of their signature. Click the Browse button to locate the signature image.

  7. iPhones will allow you to either take a photo, or use a photo that is stored in the iPhones camera library

      1. Take Photo

        1. Click the camera icon

        2. Use the camera to take a photo of your signature on a white piece of paper

        3. When you take the photo ensure that you limit the amount of white space around the signature

        4. Select to Use Photo. Click the Next button to uploaded the image to Nimbus.

        5. You can adjust the image, making it brighter, or larger as required. Click the Next button to continue.

        6. The system will confirm how your signature image will display when used. Click the Next button.

        7. You can optionally also include a photo of yourself. Follow steps 6, 7a, i. - vi. to instructions. Click the Next button.

        8. For extra security, you can choose to create a personal PIN which will be required each time you Apply your signature to a document. If desired, enter a PIN and confirm the PIN

        9. Click the Sign Document button.

  8. If the PDF contains signature blocks, click the Apply button to Sign here

  9. The complete the process.
