Client / Contacts logging into the Portal who have the same email address

Each login code for your Nimbus Client Portal MUST be UNIQUE. Contacts who share the same email address (e.g.: husband and wife), are able to create their own login to the Client Portal. This is necessary if they wish to digitally sign documents as the signing process uses the persons contact details to record who has signed a document.

When a Welcome email is sent to a Client Contact, the system automatically pre-fills their email address into the Login Code field. If the login code has already been used, the system will display an error.

 

In the screen shot sample, the system is warning that the Login Code has already been used. The user must edit the Login Code field and enter a UNIQUE code. This could be the persons first name, or any other piece of text. It does NOT have to be an email address.

The user can then continue and select a Login Type (password / authenticator) and then select the Login button to complete the process.

 

 

The user can alter the default login code, to be anything of their choice.
