Login via Email link if already logged in

Safari on a Mac has recently been updated to include a new security feature called “Content Blockers”.

If you are already logged into Nimbus and then click a link to a document via an email you have received, Nimbus will not require to provide your login credentials again, as it knows via the Cookies stored within the browser that you are already logged in.
It will open a new tab in that browser and display the document that you linked from.

If this does not occur on Safari, you may need to disable “Content Blockers” on your Nimbus URL.

Instructions

To do this perform the following:

  1. Click the Safari menu on the top toolbar and select “Settings for this website”

  2. A pop-up dialog will display showing the settings for the website URL

  3. De-select the “Enable content blockers” option

  4. As soon as this option is de-selected, the website will reload with the appropriate settings

  5. You will no longer be required to login twice via a link received from an email.
