How to accept Nimbus cookies via your browser

With the new update to security recently released, each Staff member and Client is now being asked to Accept All Nimbus cookies via their web browser. This is shown on the bottom of the login screen as follows:

When the user Accepts All cookies, Nimbus is then able to run correctly in the browser by storing information in these cookies. Please note that Cookies are used to manage the operation of the Nimbus application and do not directly store any personally identifiable data.

 

Allowing your Internet Browser to accept 3rd party Cookies

In addition to Accepting All cookies, it is also important to check and make sure your browser cookie settings are also enabling the Nimbus cookies to manage the operation of the application.

Here are instructions to make sure you have the right settings for your browser;

Google Chrome:

  1. Click the vertical 3 dots at the top-right and then select Settings:

  2. Search for cookie in the search bar at the top of the window:

  3. Select Cookies and other site data:

  4. General settings select Allow all cookies:

 

Microsoft Edge:

  1. Click the horizontal 3 dots at the top-right and then select Settings:

     

  2. Search for cookie in the search bar, top-left of the window:

     

  3. Select Manage and delete cookies and site data:

     

  4. Enable Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended) and Disable Block third-party cookies:


Microsoft Internet Explorer

  1. Click the Settings Cog and then select Internet Options

     

  2. Select the Privacy tab and select the Advanced button:

  3. Make sure that Accept is selected for First-party Cookies and Third-party cookies, as well as Always allow session cookies.
    Click OK and OK again to save the settings.


Firefox:

  1. Click the 3 lines for the menu at the top-right and then select Settings:

  2. Search for cookie in the search bar at the top of the window:

  3. Select Standard

 

Safari:

Ensure that you do not block all cookies.

Open Safari Preferences and then select Privacy

Ensure that you do not have a tick on Block all cookies.
