Other Considerations for the Nimbus Extension

Scenarios that are not supported by the Nimbus Extension

There are some documents that cannot be saved from the browser to your Nimbus account using the extension:

1. Documents opened in Office365 due to Microsoft encryption and security

2. A PDF opened in browser in custom built viewer.

3. Documents stored in a secure location e.g. SharePoint.

Note: There is no restriction on file types that can be selected when choosing a file from your local drive.

Other Limitations

1. If there are multiple documents open in your Chrome browser tabs, the extension will recognise the last one that was opened. You can refresh the page to prompt the extension to recognise the current tab

2. If Adobe PDF extension (or another PDF extension) is activated on the browser, the Nimbus Extension will not recognise PDFs.

3. The Nimbus Extension is only available for Business users and is not available via the Client Portal.
