Xero SME (Blue) Integration

Xero SME (Blue) also integrates with Nimbus. Customers have the option of synchronising the following from their Xero SME ledger to their Nimbus account.

  • Customers

  • Suppliers

  • Employees

Instructions

Login to your Nimbus account and select:

  1. Admin / AutoMate

  2. From the Integration drop-down, select Xero SME

  3. Click the ServerGate: Configure button. The following dialog will display.

  4. Select the types of Contacts you wish to integrate with your Nimbus account e.g.:

    1. Customers

    2. Suppliers

    3. Employees

A customer is defined in Xero Blue where they owe you money. A supplier is defined where you owe them money. If you do not require all of your Contacts synchronised to your Nimbus account, only select those Contact types you require.

  1. Click the Connect to Xero button

  2. Xero will display a gateway allowing you to connect Nimbus to your Xero Blue account.

  3. Click the Allow access for 30 mins button. If you are currently logged into your Xero Blue account, the system will commence the sync process. If not, you’ll be asked to login to your Xero Blue account and then the synchronisation process will commence.

  4. When the synchronisation is complete, the system will ask you to close the webpage tab.

  5. The data in your Nimbus account will look similar to the screen shot below.

  6. Note that the Entity type is defined from the Contacts listing in Xero SME (Blue)

Note that each time you wish to pull data from your Xero SME ledger, you must Connect to Xero via Admin / AutoMate, either selecting a Manual Sync or Full Client Sync
