Whitelist Email Address in Gmail
Nimbus End Users who use Gmail as their email client may not receive emails sent from a Nimbus Account. This is due to the Gmail thinking that the content of the email being received is spam.
To ensure that your Clients always receive emails from your Nimbus account, request that they Whitelist your Nimbus email address (or actually a part thereof) within their Gmail account.
You need to know the Nimbus Server name where your Nimbus account is hosted rather than the full email address.
How to find your Nimbus Server Name from your Nimbus email address:
Nimbus formulates the “From” email address when it sends emails to your Clients. The From email address will look something like this:
info.nimbusportals.com=P1591290+1532924+492223@au2.nimbushost.net
and is formulated as follows:
|
|
---|---|
The sender (staff) normal email address | |
Nimbus account definition | |
The Nimbus server where your Nimbus account is hosted |
The Nimbus Server Name is also shown in your browser URL when you login to your Nimbus account. A sample is as follows:
https: // aus2.nimbushost.net / Nimbus /
In the sample above, aus2.nimbushost.net, is the Nimbus Server Name where your Nimbus account is hosted.
Instructions to provide to your Clients on how to Whitelist your Nimbus email address in their Gmail account

Scroll past all your existing filters and select "Create a new filter”
Add the Nimbus Server Name as found above (eg: @aus2.nimbushost.net) as the email address that you want to whitelist to the "From" field.
Then click the Create filter button. Set the criteria for receiving emails from this host, such as Never send it to Spam, and Always mark it as important.
