Folder Levels
In Nimbus, the documents and files are structured around 3 types of folders:
- The Client Folders, visually represented by the yellow folder icon . They contain the files that are related to your clients and the ones they will have access to, either when you share anything with them or when then upload files themselves.
- The Business Folders, which are the ones with a green folder icon . These folders can only be viewed by your staff and can be used to store all internal documentation e.g.: HR details, standard forms, etc. Each client will have a green Current folder that holds all files which are related to that specific client, either published or not.
- The Nimbus Folders, or the blue folders . contain documents used across the whole Nimbus system (for all Users of Nimbus), for example, Nimbus training documents. These documents cannot be edited or deleted.
Client folders setup
A Client's Current folder contains all documents stored for the Client, whether they have been shared (Published) with the Client or not. The To Client folder is a Virtual folder which ONLY shows those documents that have been shared (Published) with the Client. It is a sub-set of the Current folder. The From Client folder shows all documents that have been shared by the Client. These documents can be moved or copied into the Current folder to maintain a complete document store.
All folders can be expanded by clicking the icon to the left of the folder icon. If sub-folders are present, these will then display.
If you click on the Current folder for the Client, the system will display all documents that are stored against the client. If you click on a sub-folder, then the files related to this sub-folder will be displayed.
