The Full Client Sync is recommended to be run at least monthly. This is because this process will synchronise information from XPM which is not updated on a regular sync or manual sync. This process will request the full XPM Client / Contact / Employee database from Xero and update all records in Nimbus.
Specifically the different between a regular sync and a Full Client sync is as follows:
Archiving a Client
Archived Clients and associated Contacts are removed from Nimbus upon a full sync.
Contacts are only removed if they do not have a login. If they do have a login, then you can edit the Contact and delete it from Nimbus if you wish. If you Archive a Client entity and that Client entity in Nimbus has files in their Client folder, the system will remove the Client details from the Client grid, and leave a Green folder (with the same code and name) accessible via the Documents menu. We call this an orphaned Client folder. If you wish, this folder can then be Deleted (Nimbus Basic), or archived (Nimbus Professional).
Archiving an Employee
Employees which are archived in XPM will only be removed from Nimbus when a Full Client Sync is fun. If you do not wish to Archive the employee in XPM, you may remove Nimbus access to the Employee, meaning they will no longer be able to login to your Nimbus account.
Merging a Client with another Client in Xero
When you have merged a Client with another in XPM, the Nimbus database will only be updated when a Full Client sync is run.
