Reseting Password and Clearing 2FA

Some Clients may unintentionally setup 2FA authentication when they first setup their password  This article discusses how to clear this when resetting a password.

Instructions

If a Client needs to reset their password, they can at the same time also clear the setting for 2FA.

  1. At the Nimbus Client login dialog, enter their login code (the business can provide a login code to a client if they do not know this)
  2. Click the Forgot Password icon
  3. Enter their email address - remember that this must be the email address that you have stored for them in your system
  4. The system will advise that a Password setup email has been sent to them
  5. Once received, they click the Reset Password link on this email 
  6. They can disable the “Use 2FA Pin” option at this stage
  7. Lastly, they set and confirm their password and then login.
