Adding Nimbus DDS as a Trusted Signature Certificate
Nimbus Digital Document Signing uses a Self Signing Certificate.
To ensure your Nimbus Digital Signatures are shown as valid, perform the following:
Note that the details below are provided using Adobe Acrobat
Open your PDF document using Adobe Acrobat.
Acrobat will show that the document has been signed by Unknown.
Right mouse click on any of the Signatures and select Show Signature Properties
Click the option to Show Signer’s Certificate
Then click the Trust tab and click the Add to Trusted Certificates button.
Then click the OK button to continue.
Click the OK button to continue.
Click the Validate All drop down option and select OK to validate all
Click the Ok button when Acrobat has validated all signatures
