Deleted Contact associated with an Email Job

Deleted Contact associated with an Email Job

This is what happens when you delete a contact associated with an Email Job is as follows:

If the contact is created in Nimbus (no integration) and they are the only recipient of the Email Job, the Email Job disappears.

If the contact is created externally (integration enabled) and they are the Primary Contact for the Email Job, the Email Job disappears.

If the contact is created externally (integration enabled) and they are the Primary Contact for the Email Job, if there are other contacts in the recipient tab, the Email Job will show but only with the contacts that still exist. The Email job for the Primary Contact will disappear.

This is due to how the database is recording contacts created within Nimbus or externally, we best advise that you never delete primary contacts and just update the details if they are not the primary or if they are not required.

Do note, that the history for this deleted contact will still be recorded within the client history.
