  1. Log into your okta account
  2. Under Shortcuts, click on "Add Applications"
  3.  Now click on the button
  4. Under Sign on method, select  "SAML 2.0" then click on Create
  5. Under App name, type "Nimbus Portals". Download the following logo and upload it under App logo, then click Next.

  6. Now configuring the SAML settings:
    1. Under the Single sign on URL paste the SP ARS URL address from the SAML settings page in Nimbus
    2. For the Audience URI (SP Entity ID), paste the SP metadata URL,also found in the SAML settings page in Nimbus

    3. Scroll down and click on Next

  7. Under Feedback, select "I am an Okta customer adding an internal app" and click Finish.
  8. Now go into the Sign-on tab and click on View Setup Instructions

    1. Copy the #1 Identity Provider Single Sign-On URL address and paste it over the IdP SSO URL option in the SAML settings page in Nimbus
    2. Copy the #3 X.509 Certificate content and paste it over IdP certificate
    3. In Nimbus, under the IdP SLS URL, provide the address which the users will be redirected to once they log off from Nimbus
    4. In Nimbus, click on "Create Connection"
