For Nimbus Business and Professional subscriptions, the top level client folder structure of Current, From Client and To Client is fixed in the current version, however, the Client Templates allows allow you to define a default subfolder structure to be used across all Clients in Nimbus, this . This includes any new clients added, which when added to the system will have this , will be created with the Client Template subfolder structure upon creation.
The green “Current" folder contains all client files, whether they are “published” or not, . Note that only Staff (Employees) will seeall client files.
The yellow “To Client” is a shadow of “Current” but only shows “published” files that the Client can see.
This is just a convenient view for Staff to see what the Client will see when they login to their Secure Client Portal, and it is not actually a physically separate storage area.
The “From Client” folder is separate however and will only contain file/s uploaded from the Client.
The idea of the dual From/To folders comes from the original implementation idea of Nimbus, this would clearly show clearly shows Staff which way files were moving:
