It is possible to bulk profile documents during the upload process. Documents are added to the upload queue either via a drag and drop method into the Upload file dialog, or by using the Browse button link.
Once files have been added to the queue, it is possible to profile the files to add metadata prior to upload.

The system will now also prefill the metadata values into Document Custom fields, which are picked up from the Document Category templates.
If there are no mandatory custom fields and files do not need to be profiled, you must can click the Profile button and then the Upload button.

NOTE: The system does not know which documents you have manually profiled - so you either If you profile each document OR bulk profile all documents. Once you profile each document, a later subsequent bulk profile will not apply to all documents.
